1. How many lots are in the LAPOA development?
a. There are 90 lots in the development. There are 60 finished homes. There are 30 additional lots for future development but those additional homes appear to be at least two years in the future.
2. What are the legal documents that govern the Association's operations?
a. The Articles of Incorporation, The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, The By Laws and the Rules and Regulations.
3. What establishes the Board of Directors?
a. The Articles of Incorporation.
b. Establishes a five person Board with four officers.
c. President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary
4. Who elects the Board of Directors?
a. The members/owners
5. Who elects the officers?
a. The officers are elected by the Board members.
6. How long do Board members serve?
a. Board members are elected for a three year term.
b. The terms are staggered so that we don't replace more than two members in any one year.
7. Where does the Board derive its authority to act for the Association?
a. From the Declarations (Article XI) and The By Laws (Section 4.10)
